Vintage Levi’s denim. Mud dyed, distressed and dragged through the dirt.

This vintage brown denim shirt started life as an original 90s Levi’s Western shirt before being individually bleached, mud-dyed, scraped and distressed by Agoraphobix.

The reworking process transforms the original denim into earthy shades of brown, rust, faded blue and weathered denim, creating the kind of worn-in finish that looks like it's already spent years on the road.

Original Western stitching and snap buttons remain intact, while the relaxed unisex cut makes it easy to wear as a shirt, overshirt or lightweight denim layer.

Part upcycled denim shirt, part 90s grunge relic, part dirty rock 'n' roll Western.

⚡ HOW TO STYLE IT

For an effortless 90s grunge outfit, wear your brown denim shirt open over a battered band tee with black jeans and heavy combat boots.

Take it darker with distressed black tights, a vintage slip dress and worn leather boots.

For a Western grunge look, button it up with faded denim, a heavy belt, silver jewellery and cowboy or biker boots.

Or wear it oversized as a shirt dress with ripped tights and big boots.

The earthy brown denim also works beautifully with black, faded blue, olive, cream and dirty neutrals.

🤎 MUD-DYED + DISTRESSED DENIM

The weathered brown colour isn't a factory print.

The original vintage denim has been bleached, mud-dyed, scraped and distressed by hand, creating irregular variations in colour and texture across the garment.

Those variations are part of the design.

The result sits somewhere between a brown denim shirt, distressed Western shirt and vintage workwear piece — with a finish that can't be perfectly duplicated.

No two reworked garments ever come out exactly alike.

This isn't newly manufactured denim made to look vintage.

It is vintage denim.

Rather than producing another new garment, an existing Levi’s shirt has been transformed into a one-of-a-kind piece while preserving its original Western details.

Old clothes already have character.

Length: 32" / 80 cm

The model is 5'9" / 175 cm, normally wears a size S and is wearing the actual size L shirt shown in the photographs.
